How it works

How to organize PDF pages

1

Load the PDF

Every page appears in a grid, rendered on your device, showing its original position.

2

Rearrange, rotate, remove

Each thumbnail carries its own controls: move it earlier or later, spin it 90 degrees, or mark it for deletion.

3

Save and download

One save applies the whole batch - new order, rotations, deletions - and hands you the finished file.

The scan-pile problem

Built for the out-of-order scan pile

Here's the situation this tool exists for: someone hands you a signed paper contract, you feed it through the office scanner, and the PDF comes back with page 4 before page 2, one page upside down, and a blank where the scanner grabbed the back of a sheet. Fixing that with single-purpose tools means three passes and three downloads.

Doing it in one pass isn't just faster - it's less error-prone, because you see the final page order on screen before anything is written. The grid shows each page's original number, so "move page 4 after page 2" stays checkable even after several moves. Make all the changes, eyeball the sequence once, save. If the document only needs one kind of fix, the single-purpose pages (rotate, delete) are a click simpler.

Beyond this tool

Getting a document ready to send?

Pages in order is step one. Step two is usually signatures - Document eSign places the fields, chases the signers, and seals what comes back. The free plan handles 30 documents a month.

FAQ

Organize PDF, answered.

Is the organizer free?

Yes, all of it - reordering, rotating, deleting. No account, no watermark. It's one of the free tools we run alongside Document eSign, our e-signature product.

Is the document uploaded while I rearrange it?

No. The thumbnails and every edit live in your browser tab. Nothing crosses the network at any point.

Can I reorder, rotate, and delete in one go?

That's the entire idea. Queue up every change, check the sequence on screen, and download once.

How do I move a page on a phone?

Use the arrow buttons on each thumbnail - they step a page earlier or later and work reliably on touch screens.

Does rearranging recompress anything?

No. Pages are copied into their new positions untouched - a 300-dpi scan stays a 300-dpi scan.

The PDF wants a password before opening - can I organize it?

Not in its locked state. Export an unprotected copy from the source program first, then reorganize the copy.

Pages in order? Get them signed.

Most people organizing a PDF are preparing it for someone. Document eSign sends it with signing fields, tracks who opened it, and seals the result.
